Klein and Rogers will address Connect attendees as part of two separate expert speaker panels, on key issues pertaining to the future of the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) as well as technology trends that will shape the real estate sector over the coming years.
On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, from 10:40 a.m. to 11:25 a.m., Rogers, a technology development, project management and high impact initiative implementation expert will join Mark Lesswing, Sr. Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, National Association of REALTORS®, and Joshua Sharfman, CTO, California Association of REALTORS®, in a dynamic CTO Roundtable that will discuss the next round of online real estate innovation. The session will examine technology trends that will drive online real estate for the next five years, and will be held in the O’Neill room, on the 4th floor.
On Thursday, January 14, 2010, from 3:40 p.m. to 4:25 p.m., Saul Klein, Point2’s Chief Executive Officer and real estate technology evangelist will join Brian Boero, Partner, 1000WattConsulting, and Rob Hahn, Managing Partner, 7DS Associates, to explore alternate MLS strategies that challenge current thinking. The panel will debate the future of MLS with the purpose of spurring actionable strategies for MLS executives and decision makers. The session, For Those Who Think Big: Charter an Alternate Strategy for Your MLS, will be held in the Westside Salon 4 room, on the 5th floor.
